Guide

How to choose art for your wall

Choosing art comes down to four simple decisions: size, frame, style and colour. These are the short rules interior designers use.

01

Match the size to the wall

A single piece should span about two thirds of the furniture below it. For an empty wall go bigger, for example 70×100 cm; above a sideboard 50×70 cm works well. Hang the centre of the artwork about 145 cm (57 in) from the floor.

02

Pick a frame and a mat

A light frame opens up a room and suits Scandinavian interiors; a dark one gives a print presence. A mat gives the image room to breathe and lifts its look, which is why galleries almost always use one.

03

Build a gallery wall

Three pieces in a line or an asymmetric layout with one large work. Keep a steady 5–8 cm gap between frames and a shared colour palette, and the whole wall will look planned.

04

Match colour and mood

Warm earth tones and beige calm a bedroom, greens and botanicals bring a living room to life, and black-and-white graphics suit any interior. Start from a colour you already have in the room.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Are the artworks framed and ready to hang?

Yes. Framed pieces arrive ready to hang, with the frame, a mat (if you choose one) and a hanger. You do not need to buy anything extra.

How long do production and delivery take?

We ship within 2–4 working days of your order. Everything is printed and framed in our workshop in Krosno, so you are not waiting on outside suppliers.

What is the difference between a poster and a canvas print?

A poster is printed on cotton paper and is usually framed with a mat; it is lighter and more affordable. A canvas has a texture close to painting and can hang without a frame or in an American box frame.

Can I print my own photo or artwork?

Yes. In the studio you upload a file, crop it and choose the framing. Using your own design in the studio is free; you pay for the print and framing.

What do limited edition and certificate mean?

Selected works are produced in numbered editions (for example 50 copies). Your artwork comes with a certificate carrying its edition number. The product page shows how many copies remain.

Can I return my order?

Ready-made works can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Artworks made from your own design are produced to order, so different rules apply. See the Returns page for details.
